Chichibu Railway will hold a “Chichibu Railway 123rd Anniversary Stamp Rally” starting October 1.
Stamps are placed at 10 Chichibu Railway stations, and if you collect three stamps from the stations, you will receive a “Station Name Marker Hologram Sticker” (in a secret package). Those who complete the 10 stations will be eligible to participate in the “Chichibu Railway 123rd Anniversary Lottery” at the Nagatoro-cho Tourist Information Center in front of Nagatoro-eki. The winners will receive cut rails made from used rails, trolley lines, and other prizes. In addition, they can enter the lottery for the purchase of a purple C58363 license plate.
Stamps will be placed at Hanyu, Kumagaya, Mukawa, Fukaya Hanazono, Yorii, Nagatoro, Chichibu, Ohanabatake, Kagemori, and Mibuguchi stations from October 1 to December 31.
In addition, the “Kumagaya Station Parent and Child Stationmaster Experience” will be held on October 15 and 16, and three commuter trains with a special head mark featuring the logo of the 150th anniversary of the railroad will be in service from October 1 to 31.
