Tourism Expo Japan 2022, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight (Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo) for four days from September 22 to 25.

The Taiwan Tourism Association, China Airlines, EVA Air, and other companies will be exhibiting next to each other at the Taiwan Tourism booth to promote their respective attractions. The program includes a traditional puppet show, depending on the time of the day.

In addition, on September 22, the first day of the session, Taiwan’s Disease Control Office of the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced that visa-free travel (including to Japan) would resume on September 29, giving momentum to the full resumption of travel to Taiwan.

The Taiwan Stamp Rally, a special event, is being held throughout the four days. Visitors who collect six different stamps from the eight stamp points at the Taiwan Tourism Pavilion will be able to try their hand at a gacha. During the period, 1,000 visitors will receive a Taiwan hotel stay coupon and original goods.

At the EVA Air booth, visitors can access a QR code to take part in a three-question quiz, and if they answer all questions correctly, they can try their hand at the gacha. Don’t worry, clues to the questions are hidden somewhere in the booth. You can win round-trip tickets on EVA Air and other prizes, so be sure to try your hand at the gacha. You can also get an eco-bag as a participation prize.
