The booth in the Taisetsu area in Hokkaido is a special space inspired by the outdoors. A forest-like aroma can be smelled.

Tourism Expo Japan 2022, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight (Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo) for four days from September 22 to 25.

At the booth for the Hokkaido heavy snow area, Asahikawa City, Takasu Town, Higashikagura Town, Toma Town, Pibu Town, Aibetsu Town, Kamikawa Town, and Higashikawa Town will jointly introduce tourist information. In addition to Asahikawa City, known for its Asahiyama Zoo and other tourist attractions, the seven towns in the heavy snow area, which boasts the heaviest snowfall in Hokkaido, will be presenting their attractions.

The booth was partitioned off by a thin fabric with a snow-like pattern, and upon entering, visitors were greeted by an outdoor-themed interior. The firewood used in the fire pit is also from Hokkaido, and the booth is said to be full of attention to detail, including the use of forest scented aromas. By filling out a questionnaire, you can receive original cutlery, sterilization sheets, and natural water, so be sure to visit.
