Positive Dream Persons will change the name of Hotel Nagaragawa no Sato (537-3 Higashiyama, Nagarashidami, Gifu City) to Nagaragawa Seiryu Hotel and rebrand it to open on October 7.
The new concept is “Satoyama River. Taking advantage of its location surrounded by Mt. Kinka and the Nagara River, one of the three major mountain streams in Japan, the hotel offers services to enjoy the nature of the mountain village and the sato-river, such as a handmade experience of “Gohei-mochi” local cuisine, a “Mino Ibi Cha” experience under the supervision of an old tea manufacturer, ayu fishing, SUP, and other activities.
Restaurant & Cafe “Irori and Japanese Cuisine Shofu-An” offers meals using a variety of local ingredients. The breakfast menu features a 15-square-meal spread inspired by Gifu, a sake and rice-producing region, as well as a comparison of three types of rice produced in Gifu Prefecture and five types of pickles.
The hotel has a total of 40 guest rooms, including 2 Japanese-style and 2 Western-style rooms, 18 Japanese-style rooms, and 20 Western-style rooms. The large public bath on the top floor of the hotel uses natural hot spring water directly from the Igeda Yuge Hot Springs in Ibi-gun, Gifu Prefecture, and is also equipped with a sauna.
