Ikenodaira Hotel & Resorts will completely renovate the main building of the Shirakaba Resort Ikenodaira Hotel (1596 Yagano, Ashida, Tateshina-cho, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture), opening in April 2023. The new main building, located on the shores of Lake Shirakaba, will feature 73 guest rooms in addition to a food hall-style dining room “Kohan-no-Kaze”, a hot spring facility “Kouten-no-Yu” overlooking the lake, and a deck terrace for relaxation. In addition, under the theme of “Showcase of the Five Senses of Shinshu,” an indoor hot spring resort area, “Shirakaba Nakamise,” will be newly established with a variety of local products and crafts. In addition to shopping, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of local wines and beers, as well as excellent sake snacks and sweet dishes in a kaku-uchi (corner store) style.
