Moomin Valley Park will hold a winter night event of illumination, forest, and sound, “Night Walk in Moomin Valley – Illumori no otto” from October 22 to January 9, 2023.
The voice cast for “Mr. Hemren,” a new character to accompany the story, will be voiced by veteran voice actor Toshihiko Seki. The 1.8-kilometer-long lakeside path is a combination of light effects around the perimeter of Lake Miyazawa and Sony’s Sound AR acoustic experience, which blends the real world with the sounds of the virtual world, allowing visitors to move along the 1.8-kilometer path while listening to a story that plays in their ears at the pace of their stroll. Visitors will feel as if they are adventuring through the stories of the Moomins.
In addition, from October 22 to November 20 only, a pair ticket will be available for the price of one adult for two persons. The ticket offers admission for 1,400 yen instead of the usual 2,800 yen for two people. The advance sales period will begin on September 1 for “Asobuyu! and “Lo-Tike” from September 15, 10:00 to October 21, and Moomin Valley Park Official Online Ticket from September 29, 10:00 to October 21. Sales will end when the number of tickets reaches the planned number.
