Logos collaborates with “Banko-Yaki” in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture from the traditional crafts series. Irori Hanging Earthenware Pot and Tabletop Water Stove

Posted on September 14, 2022 by News Admin

Logos Corporation released two new series in collaboration with Banko-yaki, a traditional Japanese industry.

Collaborating with Banko-yaki of Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, which has been handed down for about 300 years, this traditional industry was designated as a traditional cultural craft in 1979 by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and is also an intangible cultural asset of Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. It is famous for its kyusu (teapot), hibi (fire bowl), and earthenware pots, and its strength and ability to withstand open flame make it a suitable material for outdoor scenes.

The Logos x Bankoyaki Alori Hanging Pot is a hanging earthenware pot that is strong and can withstand open flame. It has a detachable handle, so it can be used as an earthenware pot by removing the handle when using a gas stove. It is priced at 15,900 yen.

The “LOGOS x Bankoyaki Tabletop Water Stove” is a charcoal stove that can be used on a tabletop, taking advantage of the heat-insulating effect of water. Water is collected in the body of the stove, and the charcoal is ignited by placing a fire bed on top of the water, which reduces the risk of the table being burned as the heat from the stove is transferred to the table. It is also possible to heat the food gently and gradually to lock in the flavor without the temperature rising too high, even when heating for long periods of time. Pork and chicken that need to be thoroughly cooked, as well as grilled rice balls whose surface tends to burn easily, can be slowly grilled without burning the outside. The price is 5,900 yen.
