Luup will fully introduce new electric bicycles to its electric bicycle and electric kickboard sharing service, LUUP.

The new electrically power assisted bicycles are equipped with a basket and smartphone holder. The number of bicycles to be offered will be significantly increased from the introduction of the new bicycles, following the trial introduction that began in June 2022.

The service will first be offered in Tokyo, with Osaka and Kyoto to follow in the fall. The company plans to have almost all of LUUP’s electrically power assisted bicycles be new model vehicles by the end of October.
