Tokyu Land Corporation and Kajima Corporation announced that KUDAN-KAIKAN TERRACE (1-6-5 Kudan Minami, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), a complex facility that has been promoted as a project to preserve and restore the former Kudan Kaikan, a registered tangible cultural property, will open on October 1.
Facing the moat of Kitanomaru Park, the concept of this facility is “retro modern blooming on the waterfront. The 17-story building with three basement levels includes the “Business Airport Kudanshita,” a members-only shared office that utilizes the latest IoT and other technologies, rental meeting rooms, and the nutritionally conscious “Kudan-Shokudo for the Public Good” restaurant.
In addition, a clinic mall featuring internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, otolaryngology, and pharmacy will be opened, as well as a green rooftop garden with healthy furniture to support the health of office workers.
In mid-September, prior to the opening, a planting event will be held at “Kudan Hiroba” in front of the main entrance on the north side of the facility, inviting children from a nearby nursery school. The flowers will be planted to create a place of relaxation and recreation that will be familiar to office workers and neighborhood residents.
