Posted on September 9, 2022 by News Admin

JR East Cross Station has announced the commemorative products to be released from September onward to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the railroad’s opening.

NewDays, GENERAL STORE RAILYARD, and TOKYO! (Tokyo Mitsu) will start selling limited express train goods featuring the Series 189, Series 485, and other trains that once operated on the line on September 13. The lineup includes a key ring (2 types, 880 yen) with an image of a hotel key and a clear pass case (4 types, 770 yen) depicting the side of the train.

STATION RESTAURANT THE CENTRAL in Gransta Tokyo will offer a “Commemorative Course for the 150th Anniversary of the Railway” from September 21 to October 30 (3,800 yen), featuring the chef’s favorite beef stew as the main course. THE BEAT DINER, also in Gransta Tokyo, will offer the “T-S-C Burger” (1,815 yen) with T (Southern Island sauce), S (spinach & sliced bacon), and C (cheddar cheese), named after Tokyo Station City (TSC), from September 21 to November 30. The burger will be on sale from September 21 to November 30.

Irorian, Irorian Kiraku, Soba 29 Tokyo, and Soba ’20 will hold a campaign from September to November in honor of “150 years” to offer free 1.5 times of their seasonal menu soba or 150 yen off the regular price of items with toppings (applicable items and period vary by store).

The ekiben shop will sell a “Reprinted Chicken Bento” (1,150 yen) from October 1, which recreates the seasoning from when it was launched in 1964, as well as Acure’s green tea beverage “Morning Tea Ceremony” labeled products for the 150th anniversary of the railroad (three types, 140 yen).
