Takakura, which can only be climbed during this season, allows visitors to enjoy outdoor activities while enjoying the autumn colors of larch and beech trees up to the summit of the 1409-meter-high mountain, which takes advantage of the topography of the Shizukuishi ski resort.
In addition, an accommodation plan that includes a ticket for the Shizukuishi Autumn Leaves Ropeway and a ticket for the Shizukuishi Ginga Ropeway for star gazing and nighttime aerial viewing is also available. The dates are October 8, 9, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29, November 2, 4, and 5, and the rate starts at 11,793 yen per person (including dinner and breakfast) for a standard twin room for two persons.
