Posted on September 1, 2022 by News Admin

Yamanashi Prefecture has published “100 Hiking Courses in Yamanashi,” which introduces 100 hiking courses for beginners to enjoy nature to the fullest, at stations and other locations in the service area of JR East Hachioji Branch Office.

Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan, Kitadake, the second highest, and Manodake, the third highest.

We have compiled a list of low mountain climbing and hiking courses within a one- to two-hour one-way trip, categorized by themes such as Mt. The courses have been selected mainly for beginners, but can also be enjoyed by families and the elderly. The site also includes tips on where it is easy to get lost, nearby spots, and model courses.

In addition, a website has been launched to provide detailed and up-to-date information that could not be included in the booklet. Also, until September 30, 10 people who post photos on Instagram with the hashtag “#Yamanashi Hiking 100” will win a special Kukusa (wooden mug) by drawing.
