Venus Travel, a member of the SHK Line Group, has launched a car tour package that includes round-trip New Sea of Japan ferry service to/from Akita Port, passenger car transportation, and one night stay at the Otaru Ocent Hotel. The package is available from September 9 to November 30.
The package includes round-trip boarding on the Shin Nihonkai Ferry from Akita Port to Tomakomai Higashi Port in Hokkaido (Tourist A Sleeper), transportation for a passenger car (less than 5 meters per car), and one night at the Otaru Ocento Hotel with dinner (double room). The hotel will serve “Otaru Sushi Gozen” for dinner.
The itinerary can be extended for up to 10 days by making your own arrangements and paying for the second night’s accommodations. The fare is 47,000 yen for a round-trip weekday cruise (37,000 yen with Akita residents’ discount), and 57,000 yen (47,000 yen with Akita residents’ discount) for cruises on weekends, holidays, September 1 and 22, and October 7.
