JTB and the Dotonbori Night Culture Creation Council will open “Pivot BASE ~Travel Café @ Tonbori~” on September 3.
Local information that is rooted in the region is showcased, and a system has been prepared for tourists to bring up new discoveries and “wanted” information on their own smartphones. By projecting local information onto the device in Pivot BASE, tourists can check details and information and take it with them simply by touching the device.
Visitors can view videos of city tours using the “Tig” video service on tablets and signage installed in the store, and tap on content (such as stores) that interests them while viewing to confirm detailed information and take the information to their smartphones. In addition, customers can receive services using the latest technology, such as drama content with an original storyline and non-contact video display using an aerial display.
