Yamaguchi “Oyado Onn Yuda Onsen” opens September 1st

Posted on August 29, 2022 by News Admin

On September 1, Onn Onn Yuda Onsen Hotel (4-5-2, Yuda Onsen, Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture) will open in Yuda Onsen, Yamaguchi City, combining the relaxing atmosphere of a Japanese-style hotel with the convenience of a hotel.

Yuda Onsen in Yamaguchi City is lined with tourist attractions such as footbath spots and Ruriko-ji Temple, where the “White Fox Legend,” in which a white fox is said to have found a hot spring 600 years ago, is also still very much alive. Located a 9-minute walk from Yuda Onsen Station, it is accessible in 20 minutes by train from Shin-Yamaguchi Station on the Shinkansen bullet train line and in about 40 minutes by car from Yamaguchi-Ube Airport.

Oyado Onn Yuda Onsen” was designed to be a stylish yet relaxing space based on monotone materials. It features twin beds lined up on a small raised floor, wallpaper featuring the texture of the finished material, and a front counter with plenty of wooden materials. On the exterior, a garden was designed to resemble a Japanese-style garden.

For check-in, a smartphone-based system has been introduced. Pre-payment, room selection, etc. can all be done on the app, and on the day of check-in, simply hold up the QR code to complete check-in. During the stay, additional payments can also be made via the app.

In addition, a large outdoor bath and meals are available at the adjacent facility “Kamefuku on Place”. The facilities are connected by a connecting walkway, allowing visitors to get around without getting wet, even in the rain.

Other amenities include a sauna and a buffet-style restaurant.
