The Oirase Natural Tourism Resource Study Group will conduct the “Oirase Keiryu Nature Tour by Grislo,” utilizing the “Green Slow Mobility,” a small group electric bus that runs at 20 km/h.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is currently constructing a tunnel to bypass the Oirase Stream (Route 102) in Towada-Hachimantai National Park (60 Okuse, Towada City, Aomori Prefecture), called the Aobuna Mountain Bypass Project.
This tour was conducted as a social experiment in collaboration with the public and private sectors to provide basic data for studying the transportation system after the completion of the Blue Beech Mountain Bypass. A nature guide will ride in a Grislo to visit major scenic spots, waterfalls, and other photo spots, and enjoy observing trees and mosses in the mountain stream.
