In conjunction with the launch of its new membership program, Cathay Pacific Airways will offer a special autumn promotion to Cathay Pacific MUFG Gold Mastercard cardholders.
New members enrolling during the period will receive a variety of awards, including bonus miles of up to 16,000 miles and discounts on airline tickets.
The new Cathay membership program allows members to manage both Status Points, the basis for membership status, and miles on a single membership site. All members have access to priority online check-in, excess baggage allowance, and award redemption for extra-legroom seats.
Eligible applicants are Cathay Pacific MUFG Gold Mastercard card. 8,000 miles will be awarded for new cardholders, 3,000 miles for those who spend over 300,000 yen within 4 months after the credit card is issued, and 2,000 miles for those who book airline tickets through Cathay Pacific’s website during the period.
In addition, during September, a 5% discount code “MUNSEP22JP” will be available for airline ticket purchases (also for existing members), and a 20% discount will be automatically applied when redeeming miles for awards such as hotels and rental cars for travel. In addition, the expiration date of Asia Miles earned before January 1, 2020 will be extended.
