FUWATECH: proprietary heat-retaining series of products from Workman

Posted on August 24, 2022 by News Admin

Workman will launch a new line of women’s PB functional wear for fall/winter 2022.

The new product uses FUWATECH, a new proprietary material co-developed with Teijin that is lightweight and has excellent heat retention properties, and FUWATECH is characterized by its ultra-light weight, high heat retention, and enveloping softness.

Products with new proprietary FUWATECH material include “FUWATECH Light Warm Insulation” and “FUWATECH Light Warm Skirt”. Each is priced at 1,900 yen. The FUWATECH Light Warm Insulation will be available from mid-September. The “FUWATECH Light Warm Skirt” will be sold exclusively at #Workman Women’s Stores and WORKMAN Plus stores in large SCs from early September.

Workman’s first women’s knitwear products made of SOLOTEX, a high-grade material, are lightweight and durable, and are made partly from environmentally friendly plant-derived materials that restore shape simply by hanging them on a hanger even if they lose their shape and are resistant to pilling.

The “SOLOTEX Aze Pullover,” “SOLOTEX Retro Pullover,” and “SOLOTEX Cable Pullover” are knit products using the high-grade material SOLOTEX. The “SOLOTEX Aze Pullover” will be priced at 1,500 yen and the “SOLOTEX Retro Pullover” at 1,900 yen, and will be available from late August. The “SOLOTEX Cable Pullover” is priced at 1,900 yen and will be sold exclusively at #Workman Women’s Stores and WORKMAN Plus stores in large SCs from late August.

The new products are priced at the previous level with no price increase until March 2023 under the “Price Hold Declaration.
