JR East and JR East Trading will release a calendar featuring photos taken by JR East employees on September 21. The price is 2,200 yen.
The calendars feature scenes that employees have photographed that are not usually seen, such as scenes inside the rolling stock center, cars that have already been retired, and unusual lines of multiple cars. Five different calendars will be produced, with a theme for each train type and area.
For the first time, a calendar will also be prepared using photographs solicited from members of the photographing community. The calendar will use photos of seasonal scenery taken from the viewpoints of fans. The price is 1430 yen.
