ANA and Peach revise their air transportation plans for the 2022h2.

Posted on August 23, 2022 by News Admin

ANA plans to increase, suspend, or reduce the number of flights on some domestic routes in consideration of demand trends and the competitive environment. In addition, ANA will operate the Sendai-Okinawa route operated by Peach during the second half of the year, and all Peach domestic flights will be available for purchase via ANA’s website from October as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation. In anticipation of a recovery in demand for international flights to and from Narita, Peach will resume flights on the Narita – Itami and Chubu routes. In the second half of the year, Peach will begin code-sharing flights operated by Amakusa Airline and Japan Air Commuter. As a result, some flights operated by both airlines will be available under the ANA flight number. By building a comprehensive network that is not limited to individual airlines, ANA aims to improve convenience for passengers. On international routes, ANA plans to further expand its operations beyond the current scale in anticipation of a recovery in demand. The company plans to announce its flight schedule for the second half of the year, including the increase and resumption of flights, on August 30, but has announced that some routes will be suspended or reduced in order to provide earlier information to passengers.

About Peach Peach expects a recovery in demand for its international routes and will resume flights as soon as possible: the Haneda – Incheon (Seoul) route, which has been suspended since March 2020, will resume on October 30, and the Kansai – Seoul route, which will resume on August 28, will increase to two round-trips per day. In addition, JAL will consider resuming international routes that had been suspended due to the impact of the new coronavirus, as well as launching new international routes. In conjunction with this, in order to optimize the distribution of aircraft between domestic and international routes, some domestic routes will be suspended, flights will be reduced, and flights will be operated seasonally.
