KAI SEKISHI, two colors of magnetic blade guards for Sekisoroku household kitchen knives. For outdoor carrying.

Posted on August 19, 2022 by News Admin

Kaijirushi has released the brand’s first magnetic blade guard from the Sekisoroku series, which boasts the top share of the domestic market for household kitchen knives alone. It is available in two colors, black and gray, each priced at 2,420 yen. They will be available at mass merchandisers and home centers nationwide, as well as on the official Kaijirushi online store.

Sekisoroku, the main brand of Kaiji, is popular for its kitchen knives that focus on sharpness and its extensive lineup of cooking utensils. On the other hand, with the recent camping boom and increase in the outdoor population, the “Compact Knife” with a sheath and other easy-to-carry kitchen knives and items of the same series are also attracting attention.

The new “Sekisoroku Blade Guard Magnetic Type” uses magnetic force to hold the blade in place to prevent it from sliding around inside the case. In addition, a double-lock structure with a slide lock on the outside prevents knives from slipping out of the case, enhancing safety.

The knife size that can be stored is intended for knives with a blade cross section of up to 200 mm, a blade width of 28 to 50 mm, and a plate thickness of up to 2.5 mm (may not be used depending on the shape).
