The southern part of Chubu-Sangaku National Park is currently promoting the “Matsumoto-Takayama Big Bridge Project” in which local governments and businesses are working together to realize the “Matsumoto-Takayama Big Bridge Concept. This is an initiative to make Chubu-Sangaku National Park (12883-1, Chikuni Otsu, Otani-mura, Kitaazumi-gun, Nagano Prefecture) a “world-class national park,” and aims to establish a new tourist area by comparing the 80 km crossing route between Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture and Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture to a “Big Bridge. In conjunction with this project, the “Matsumoto-Takayama Route Name Voting Campaign” is underway to select a name for the crossing route, which is the core of the project. By accessing the campaign website and casting your vote for your favorite name among the three possible route names, you will be entered in a drawing to win a tour to the Chubu-Sangaku National Park area, local products, and other prizes.
