Nose Electric Railway to Start Point Service with ICOCA from 2023. Coupon tickets will be discontinued

Posted on August 9, 2022 by News Admin

Nose Electric Railway will begin the “Nose Train Point Redemption Service” using the ICOCA transportation system IC card on April 1, 2023, in response to the increased use of IC cards and decreased use of coupon tickets, and has also announced that the sale of coupon tickets, except for those for the physically challenged, will end on April 30 of the same year. The company also announced that it will stop selling coupon tickets except for those for the disabled as of April 30 of the same year.

The service grants points to passengers who use the same fare section of any Nose Electric Railway line (excluding the Myokenomori Cable Lift) 11 or more times within the same month with an SF balance; 10% of the amount spent is returned for the 11th to 30th times, and 15% for the 31st and subsequent times. The service is linked to the point redemption services of Hanshin Electric Railway, Sanyo Electric Railway, and Hankyu Corporation, and points accumulated through use by the above companies can also be converted uniformly to SF balance at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen.

To use the points, you need to register your name, date of birth, and phone number at the ticket vending machines of the above-mentioned partner companies. Points can be converted to SF balance at Kawanishi Noseguchi Station.
