Rosewood Hotels & Resorts opens “Rosewood Vienna”. In front of St. Peter’s Square

Posted on August 8, 2022 by News Admin

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts opened Rosewood Vienna (Peterspl. 7, 1010 Wien), its fifth European property and the brand’s first in the German-speaking market, on August 1.

Located on St. Peter’s Square, Vienna’s most famous square. The hotel is conveniently located near the Graben district, Kohlmarkt and Tuchlaubenstrasse, making it easy to reach Vienna’s cultural and historical attractions. The hotel was renovated from the former headquarters of the “Erste Group Bank” and has 71 rooms and 28 suites.

The rooftop cocktail bar on the seventh floor reflects the capital’s unique heritage and design style, with walnut wood, leather, and locally sourced gray-brown marble. The restaurant, Neuhofheit, incorporates classic Austrian woodwork reminiscent of Vienna’s legendary coffee houses and cafes.

The Asaya Spa, located on the 5th and 6th floors, will offer four treatment rooms, a social suite relaxation area, steam bath, and experience shower.

The approximately 170m2 suite includes a master bedroom, living room, entertainment area, dining room that seats eight, and kitchen. The living room offers a French-style balcony with a view of St. Peter’s Square.

The restaurant will offer European cuisine along with traditional Austrian dishes based on seasonal produce from local markets. The restaurant offers beef, fish, and vegetables cooked on a Josper grill with charcuterie seafood.

The first floor pavilion is a suite of spaces for social events and business meetings; designed to accommodate up to 110 people in four rooms, the configuration can be adjusted depending on the purpose. For outdoor gatherings, the Garden Room and Secret Garden on the 6th floor can accommodate up to 60 people.
