On August 5, HIS (HIS) opened the Watermark Hotel & Resorts Okinawa Miyakojima (1725 Maehara, Irabu Usawada, Miyakojima City, Okinawa Prefecture) in Miyakojima, Okinawa.
Located on the beach of Sawada, Irabu Island, Miyako Island. With its beautiful sea of highly transparent shades of blue and mild climate blessed with lush nature, Sawada beach, selected as one of the “100 best beaches in Japan,” offers excitement and experiences that can only be found in that area.
There are 50 guest rooms, including 2 “Private Garden Ocean View Suites” and “Private Terrace Ocean View Twins,” 10 “Deluxe Ocean Front Balcony Twins,” and 36 “Ocean Front Balcony Twins,” all with large refrigerators, microwave ovens, and mattresses with France Bed technology, TVs with mirroring functionality, and Bluetooth speakers with wireless recharging capabilities.
Breakfast is buffet style, with more than 50 items on the Japanese, Western, and Chinese menus, including Okinawan dishes such as champuru and rafte, while lunch features original healthy fast food. For dinner, guests can enjoy barbecue and ala carte menus featuring Okinawan brand meat and fresh seafood.
