Reebok has released the Beatnik Moc, an updated version of the Beatnik, which was originally released in the 1990s as an outdoor sandal. The retail price at its own store is 16,500 yen. It will be available at Reebok Online Shop, Reebok Store Shibuya, Reebok Classic Store Harajuku, ZOZOTOWN, and BILLY’S ENT.
This edition faithfully reproduces Beatnik’s signature “slip-on” feature and “center seam construction,” while the upper is made of premium suede and nubuck. Available in six colors, the style has evolved to fit hiking and everyday life. In addition, the addition of stretchy material to support the ankle and an overlay panel construction to protect the sides of the foot ensures ease of walking while still providing slip-on type footwear.
