Heso Productions will begin selling the “Brake Handle Bottle Cap Opener” to the general public in early August, which had previously been a limited edition product for railroad companies and railroad museums.
Attached to the lid of a plastic bottle, the cap can be easily removed, making it popular not only with railroad fans and children, but also with elderly people who do not have a strong grip. When used with carbonated beverages, the “psshhhh” sound can be enjoyed as if you are actually driving a train.
The product will be sold at eki-naka stores, railroad goods stores, variety stores, etc. throughout Japan, priced at 1,200 yen (excluding tax) for Premium Ver., 1,000 yen for Normal Ver./Gold & Gold, and 1,000 yen for Normal Ver./Black & Silver.
