The Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau will hold a series of commemorative events starting on August 1, as this year marks the 111th anniversary of the Bureau’s establishment as the Tokyo Municipal Bureau of Electricity on August 1, 1911.
Show a valid “Toei Marugoto Kippu (Toei Transportation Common 1-day Ticket)” at the Tourist Information (Asakusa Line Shinbashi Station, Oedo Line Ueno-okachimachi Station, Shinjuku Nishiguchi Station) or Minowabashi Omoideikan and a set of limited original novelty goods will be distributed. The distribution will end as soon as they are gone.
In addition, a digital stamp rally is scheduled to begin on November 1, an “Arakawa Line Day” event in the fall, and the Toei Festa 2022 in December.
