Mitsubishi Estate and Simon will open “Fukaya Hanazono Premium Outlets” (169 Kuroda, Fukaya, Saitama Prefecture) on October 20, 2012, marking the 10th new premium outlet location in 10 years since Shisui Premium Outlets (Chiba Prefecture) opened in 2013.
The 133 stores, mainly high-end brands, will open their doors, including 40 unique restaurants and food retailers, including some of Saitama Prefecture’s best-known restaurants. Also on the premises is Japan’s first attraction area “Let’s Play! GARIGARIKUN, artworks on display everywhere, a supermarket, a café where you can spend time with your dog, and other stores and services that are convenient for daily use.
Notable stores include the world’s first outlet of the electronic musical instrument manufacturer Korg, the outlet’s first restaurant in Japan, Cafe Iguana Mexican Grill, Nagatoro to Gare (miso fries and locally brewed sake), and a food specialty shop, Moi Saitama Maruhiro, which mainly carries vegetables, bakery products and other Saitama specialty products. A food specialty store “Moi Saitama Maruhiro” offers a selection of vegetables, bakery products, and other specialty foods of Saitama. Other stores can be found in the “Brand List.
The location is about 1.5 km from the Hanazono IC on the Kanetsu Expressway and a 3-minute walk from the Fukaya Hanazono Station on the Chichibu Railway.
