goyemon, a brand run by NEWBASIC, has released a special-order model of “unda-unda-“, a fusion of snow geta and sneakers.
Shisha has collaborated with the popular cafe and bar “Yellow” (1-8-9 Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) to develop two models, “unda-CABIN-” and “unda-BIOILER-“, which differ in impression based on the key color of yellow. Yellow stores from August 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
The “unda-CABIN-” was designed in the motif of Yellow’s new “CABIN” floor. The refined yellow color is an eye-catching and sophisticated pair of shoes. On the other hand, “unda-BOILER” is inspired by the interior of a cruising ship, while “CABIN” is inspired by the boiler room that powers the ship. The image of charcoal burning amidst a cloud of smoke is superimposed on the yellow shisha, creating a powerful and tough finish.
Both are priced at 25,000 yen and come in three sizes: S (22-25 cm), M (24-27 cm), and L (26-29 cm).
