The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Grant Agreement (G/A) with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on July 27 in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, for a grant of up to 1,165 million yen for the “Construction Project for Secondary Schools and Technical Education Vocational Training Schools in the Central and Central Western Regions”. Grant Agreement (G/A) was concluded with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
This project targets the Central and Central-Western regions of Burkina Faso, and will improve access to secondary schools and the learning environment in the target areas through the construction of new secondary schools with regular and technical courses and the provision of necessary equipment.
