Kujukyuwan Enchi Campground, overlooking the sea of Noto

Posted on July 13, 2022 by News Admin

High Mount Associe, a member of the Noto Town Tourist Association, together with Woody Creation, is in the process of renovating the public facility “Kujukyuwan Enchi Camping Site” (3-36 Koshizaka, Noto Town, Hozu County, Ishikawa Prefecture) as the designated administrator, and has been operating since May under the new name of “Kujukyuwan Enchi Camping Site. As part of the renewal, “empty-handed camping sets” will be available at the “Solo Lawn Site” and “Soraumi Terrace (campsite)” in the solo camping area from mid-July.

There are three camp sites on the site. The “Solo Lawn Site” is a free site where you can spend time alone while enjoying the view of the ocean. The sites are located on grassy plazas, so they are very comfortable, and since there are separate areas for men and women, they are also recommended for female solo campers. Use of the camp site only is 2,750 yen per night.

On the other hand, “Soraumi Terrace (campground),” a sectioned site with views of the sky and sea, is conveniently located near the parking lot, washrooms, and cooking facilities. Each site (4 x 6 m) is pre-equipped with a wooden table and chairs, reducing the need for bulky camping gear and luggage. Use of the camp site only is 5,500 yen per night. In addition, “empty-handed camping sets” are available here, starting at 18,000 yen per night for two people per site, including the cost of a plot. The set includes tents, bedding, tarps, LED lanterns, cooking utensils, and other necessary equipment from well-known manufacturers in Japan and abroad, making it possible to enjoy full-fledged glamping at a low cost.

The site is also equipped with a seaside “Isokko Terrace (fire place). The auto site (6 x 15 m) is limited to 10 campers, and cars are allowed to drive in. Although there are stairs to the washrooms and kitchen, it is a popular place to relax and enjoy the view of the horizon. Use of the camp site alone is 5,500 yen per night.

Check-in time is 10:00 (2:00 for empty-handed campers) and check-out time is 10:00, with a maximum stay of 24 hours, allowing guests to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as BBQ, playing on the beach in the nearby ocean, and feeding fish on a cruise ship. Reservations are now being accepted through the official website.
