Yama-kei Publishers has expanded the weather forecast service offered through its Yamakei Online web service from approximately 60 locations at the foot of mountains to 1,896 locations at the foot of mountains.
Not only for major mountain areas, but also for nearby low mountains and hiking destinations. Weather information for locations close to each mountain is provided within each mountain introduction page. This enables users to check the weather, temperature, and probability of precipitation in towns close to the trailhead, even for mountains without summit weather.
It also supports locations that were previously blank spots in weather forecasts.
