Candeo Hospitality Management will open “Candeo Hotels Kumamoto Shinshigai” (8-7 Shinshigai, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture) on July 10 as a tenant in the “TERRACE87” complex.
The facility is the first example of a private project to receive “special exception approval for height standards” as part of the “Machinaka Revitalization Project” promoted by Kumamoto City, and serves as the gateway between the arcade shopping street and the “Sakura-machi District Redevelopment Facility,” a new and old commercial center. It became a large-scale flagship facility with 12 floors above ground and a total of 380 rooms, the largest in Kyushu for Candeo Hotels.
In the observation space, there is a sauna for both men and women, the first sauna of the auto-laulu type. Visitors can smoothly repeat the process of taking an open-air bath with a view, sauna, water bath, and outdoor air bath. In addition, a limited number of the original sauna hats “Kandeo Sauna Hat (Kumamon ver.)” of each color will be available for sale, and an “Accommodation Plan with Original Sauna Hat” that includes accommodation will also be sold to commemorate the opening.
Rooms will include the “Business Desk Double” with a glass-topped desk in the center, and the “Deluxe Force” with four Simmons single beds and a small sofa by the window that can be used as a bed. The “Private Suite” and “Private Spa Candeo Suite,” special rooms on the top floor, also feature an open-air bath in the room.
The breakfast buffet will include “Dagojiru,” a local dish of Kumamoto Prefecture, and dashi soup made with Amakusa Daio, a local chicken.
