Awa Onsen Kinokuniya has opened a high-class private sauna, Yumi Sauna cafe (435 Motona, Kyonan-cho, Awa-gun, Chiba), in Kyonan-cho, Chiba Prefecture. Rates start at 11,000 yen per room.
The sauna (5 private sauna rooms) and open café are combined with a water bath that draws water from the groundwater (underground water) of Mt. The underground water is pumped at an appropriate temperature of 15 to 20℃, and the private rooms overlook Tokyo Bay.
The café will offer “horse mackerel burgers,” “Jersey raw shakes,” and “black wagyu beef burgers” made with local ingredients.
