Kogane will open the hot spring resort Shizuka (233-4 Shiomi, Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture) on July 22.
Positioned as a fusion of an onsen ryokan and glamping facility, all rooms are equipped with private saunas and open-air hot spring baths. The sauna is a Japanese cypress barrel sauna, and the outdoor baths use 100% natural hot spring water pumped from the property.
The meals feature live fish sourced from seafood landed that morning. Sashimi can be eaten raw or grilled on a barbecue stove.
Guests can use the lounge and open terrace in the Hanashibuki ryokan. A free drink bar is available in one corner of the lounge.
