APA Hotel has built a new 180-room addition to the APA Hotel , which is currently operating in Shizuoka City, on the hotel site, and opened it as a two-building, 269-room hotel together with the existing 89-room building.
Located a 5-minute walk from Shizuoka Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line and Tokaido Shinkansen. The front desk and lobby will be moved from the South Wing to the Main Wing, and check-in and other operations will be integrated into the management and operation of the two buildings to improve efficiency, including in terms of personnel. In addition, a coin-operated laundry and a vendor corner have been newly established on the first floor of the main building, and a new restaurant, “Kushikatsu Tonkatsu Ebisu,” has opened.
Large LCD televisions over 50 inches in size installed in all guest rooms are equipped with “APA Digital Information,” which displays information about the hotel in a centralized manner on the TV screen. Guests staying at the hotel (including those using the one-day plan) can watch more than 200 movie and animation titles free of charge during their stay. In addition, as the latest guest room facilities, HDMI terminals have been installed in the centralized bedside controller, which integrates lighting switches, air conditioning remote controls, electrical outlets, USB ports, etc.
Hotels are equipped with one-second check-in machines. By using the app check-in, guests can greatly simplify the check-in procedure on the day of their stay. In addition, express check-out post boxes have been installed to process check-outs in real time when room card keys are dropped in the mailbox.
