Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort will be open for summer season for the first time from August 10 to November 13.
The “New Viewing Terrace (tentative name)” overlooking the Uonuma Basin will be opened at a location adjacent to the Sunrise Express summit station in the middle of the slope. With a floor area of 232 m2 , it will be lined with sofas and tables on a permanent wooden deck. Visitors can enjoy a food and drink menu using local ingredients while enjoying a panoramic view of the Echigo Sanzan (three mountains) and the Uonuma Plain.
In addition, the dome tents operated as snow glamping facilities are equipped with air-conditioning facilities. The company will sell plans that include meals, and provide air-conditioned private spaces that are unaffected by sudden changes in the weather. Advance reservations are required for use of the dome tents.
