The Guest House Japan opened “Guest House Japan Asama-Yumoto” (2286-126 Omae-Hosohara, Tsumakoi-mura, Agatsuma-gun, Gunma Prefecture), a private accommodation facility in a national park in Tsumakoi Village, Gunma Prefecture.
Located about 40 minutes by car from the Usui Karuizawa IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway and about 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station on the JR Hokuriku Shinkansen Line. The vast site is lush with nature and the large lava rock of Mt. Asama left intact. Asama at an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters at the foot of Mt. Asama, visitors can enjoy a comfortable stay even in summer.
The villa, which can accommodate up to eight people, has a living/dining room with a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating, and a wood terrace with an electric BBQ grill and an authentic Italian pizza oven. In the stone and cypress open-air baths, guests can also enjoy hot spring water from a source 1,500 meters underground. A Fire Stick TV with a projector for enjoying movies and other entertainment is also available.
