Garmin Japan will release the Edge 1040 Solar and Edge 1040 Set from the Edge series of cycle computers on June 16.
The Edge 1040 Solar is the first model in the series with solar recharging capability. The battery has been enhanced to provide approximately 35 hours of operation in multi-GNSS multi-band mode. Using the battery saving mode, it can operate for approximately 70 hours.
The Edge 1040 Solar is priced at 109,800 yen and the Edge 1040 Set at 99,800 yen.
