Commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Shinkansen “Nozomi”, JR Tokai Passengers will release “Nozomi 30th Anniversary Commemorative Smartphone Stand with Recharging Function” on June 4. Nozomi 30th Anniversary Commemorative Smartphone Stand with Charging Function” will go on sale on June 4.
The product is assembled with an acrylic board. When a compatible smartphone is placed on the stand with power supplied from a USB cable, the smartphone can be charged wirelessly. It is also equipped with a magnetic sensor, so that when the smartphone is placed on the stand, JR Tokai’s “Nozomi” train melodies of past generations will be played. The design on each side features the train cars used in past generations of “Nozomi” trains, including JR West’s 500 series, as well as the directional signs.
The product, which comes with a USB cable, is priced at 3,800 yen and will be available at the JRCP online store as well as at ekiben kiosks such as the DELICA STATIONs located at Tokaido Shinkansen stations.
