Citizen: K18 yellow gold case and Tosa Seicho ornament

Posted on May 26, 2022 by News Admin

On June 23, CITIZEN WATCH will release a limited edition model from “The CITIZEN” featuring a K18 yellow gold case and Caliber 0100, an Eco-Drive movement with an annual time difference of ±1 second.

Limited to 50 pieces, this model is available only at selected stores and is priced at 2.2 million yen.

The Caliber 0100 does not rely on time information from radio towers or satellites, but uses only its internal mechanism to achieve an annual time difference of ±1 second. The dial is made of Tosa Seicho paper, a traditional Japanese craft. This handmade paper is both thin and strong, and is produced by hand from natural materials.

The strap is paired with a black bamboo-spotted alligator leather band. The Caliber 0100, visible through the see-through back cover, is plated with black ruthenium.
