Jetstar Airways will resume its Japan-Australia route, which has been suspended for more than two years due to the new coronavirus.

In addition, KIX will resume flights on the Kansai – Cairns route on July 26 with 8 round-trip flights per week, and on the Narita – Gold Coast route on August 2 with 6 round-trip flights per week.

This restores the schedule prior to the spread of the new coronavirus. Twelve round-trip flights, 24 per week, will be operated in business and economy class on Boeing 787 aircraft.

Economy Starter fares (one-way) from Kansai to Cairns start at 37,000 yen, from Narita to Cairns at 38,000 yen, and from Narita to the Gold Coast at 42,000 yen. Business class fares are from 78,000 yen to Cairns from Kansai, 87,000 yen to Cairns from Narita, and 95,000 yen to the Gold Coast from Narita. All fares are available on the company’s website.

To commemorate the reopening of the Australia route, a “Fly, Fly Australia! Sale” will be held to commemorate the reopening of the Australia route. Economy Starter fares will be priced at 19,990 yen per one-way flight, and Business Class fares will be priced at 64,990 yen per one-way flight.
