Mitsubishi Estate announced that “MJ HOTEL Sendai Chuo” in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, which was completed as the first lodging-specialized hotel in the Tohoku region, will be opened as “Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sendai” (4-4-5 Chuo, Aoba-ku, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture) operated by Sotetsu Hotel Management, which handles hotels nationwide.
It is located within walking distance of the business areas concentrated around the station, a 4-minute walk from Sendai Station on the JR and Sendai Municipal Subway lines and a 5-minute walk from Aobadori Station on the JR Senseki Line. It is also within easy access to downtown Kokubuncho, Sendai’s kitchen “Sendai Asaichi”, “Sendai Castle Ruins (Aoba Castle)”, and “Zuihouden”, the mausoleum of Date Masamune, and other tourist attractions.
The 224 guest rooms are configured to meet a variety of needs, including double, twin, and universal types, and all rooms are Wi-Fi enabled.
