The Kyoto Takigi Noh Play is a traditional event in early summer in Kyoto. Prior to the main performance on June 1 and 2, a “Kyoto Takigi Noh Pre-Performance” will be held as follows to familiarize the public with Noh and Kyogen.
In addition to commentary on the Kyoto Takigi Noh Play, digest versions of Noh and Kyogen will be performed at the City Hall Plaza and Kyoto Station underground mall Porta. This is an opportunity to enjoy the real thing up close and personal, so please come and visit us.
