JTB’s “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” is now open for reservations in Kumamoto Prefecture. Up to 60% off domestic tours (transportation + lodging), etc.; only a few spots remain in Fukuoka Prefecture.

JTB has announced that it is now accepting reservations for Kumamoto Prefecture under the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” program, starting at 1:00 p.m. on October 8. Reservations can only be made through the dedicated pages on each website. The start date for in-store and phone reservations has not yet been determined.

The Kyushu Recovery Support Discount is a travel support program that offers discounts of up to 50% (up to 60% for Kumamoto and Kagoshima) on trips departing on or after October 1 and returning by the date specified for each prefecture. The maximum discount per person per reservation is 20,000 yen for one night and 30,000 yen for two or more nights.

Eligible products include reservations for accommodations only and domestic tour packages (airfare and JR train tickets plus accommodations).

As for the other participating prefectures, the coupons for Fukuoka Prefecture—for which registration began at 1:00 p.m. on October 7—are nearly sold out, while the status of the program in Oita and Kagoshima remains undecided.
