Kinokuniya’s final “Suica Penguin” collaboration is a mascot bag. It comes with a carabiner so you can take it with you wherever you go.

Kinokuniya plans to release a “mascot bag” featuring the Suica penguin at the end of October (scheduled). The company says it will announce the price and size at a later date.

This palm-sized plush toy features a ribbon and carabiner in Kinokuniya’s brand colors on the top of its head—a design that makes you want to take it with you on your daily commutes and shopping trips.

She has the eco-bag familiar from Kinokuniya slung over her shoulder, and there’s a pocket on her back where she can pull out a folded eco-bag.

Kinokuniya and the Suica Penguin have previously released collaborative products such as slide-zipper bags, lunch bags, and large embroidered tote bags. However, since the Suica Penguin will step down as Suica’s mascot in March 2027, this product is said to be the final collaboration item.

The company is asking customers to refrain from contacting stores with inquiries regarding product information, release dates, and other related matters.
