Italian Ambassador to Japan Vattani Attends Opening of ENIT S.p.A. Booth: “Offering Experiences of Unparalleled Diversity and Quality”

Posted on September 27, 2026 by Editor in Chief

“Tourism EXPO Japan 2026,” one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight for four days, from September 24 to 27.

The Italian National Tourist Board is exhibiting at the “ENIT S.p.A.” booth in the Europe Corner of East Hall 1. In one corner of the booth, staff are providing tourist information on major cities.

On the first day, September 24, an opening ceremony was held at the booth, and Mario Andrea Vattani, the Italian Ambassador to Japan, took the stage. “This year marks the 160th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Japan. Italy offers a diverse range of high-quality experiences that are unparalleled anywhere in the world. Thanks not only to direct flights to Rome but also to the launch of direct flights to Milan, the number of travelers from Japan to Italy increased by 10% in 2025. Please come and experience the Italy booth,” he said, before performing the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the booth.
