Led Zeppelin (Aloha Beer Company) — This is a favorite among my local friends who love beer. Previously, it was only available at the “Aloha Beer Company” store, but when I saw cans for sale at the supermarket, I bought them right away. “Old School IPA” refers to a classic, robust IPA—a stark contrast to the juicy, low-bitterness IPAs that have gained popularity in recent years. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the “true essence of an IPA.” It features a rich, caramel-like malt body paired with hop aromas reminiscent of citrus and flowers. It offers not only a solid bitterness but also a well-balanced blend of richness and aroma. ABV 6.2%, IBU 62.
PGB (Honolulu Beerworks) — This beer used to be sold under its full name, but it’s made a comeback as an acronym (I’ve decided to leave out the official name since it’s quite a mouthful…). But apparently, it’s actually brewed by women and was created to support women in the beer industry. The Extra Pale Ale is a style similar to an IPA, characterized by aromas reminiscent of citrus, pine, stone fruit, and grass. It has a pronounced hoppy bitterness and a dry finish. Knowing the story behind the name makes the beer even more enjoyable. ABV 6%, IBU 38.
