Japan’s First Indoor Snoopy Playground Opens at Aeon Tsudanuma! Fun for Kids—and Even Adults on Their Own—[Preview Report] SNOOPY Playful PARK Aeon Mall Tsudanuma South

Posted on September 30, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Aeon Entertainment opened “SNOOPY Playful PARK Aeon Mall Tsudanuma South,” Japan’s first Snoopy-themed indoor playground, on August 10. This article covers the media preview event held on September 10.

This facility opened on the 7th floor—the same floor as the Aeon Cinema movie theater—of “Aeon Mall Tsudanuma South” (1-10-30 Tsudanuma, Narashino City, Chiba Prefecture), a large-scale shopping complex directly connected to Niitsudanuma Station on the Keisei Matsudo Line, which opened in March 2026.

Based on the concept of “a place where smiles come together,” the facility consists of three areas: a playground, a food and beverage area, and a retail area. Admission operates on a 90-minute time-slot rotation system, and access to the food and beverage and retail areas requires a same-day admission ticket for the playground.

While some play structures have an upper age limit, adults are also welcome to enter on their own, so everyone—from infants as young as 0 years old to people of all ages—can fully enjoy the world of Snoopy. In addition to playing with their children on the play equipment, some visitors take commemorative photos using costumes and props, while others bring their favorite stuffed animals or mascots to enjoy “stuffed animal photo sessions.”

Additionally, since almost all reservation slots were filled during the August summer vacation period, business hours were extended starting September 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Yuji Michimata, Group Manager of the Future Creation Office attached to the Representative Director of Aeon Entertainment, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We want to continue opening new stores at a rapid pace.”
